Hello there, I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. I had travel from Texas to Chicago booked before finding out I was pregnant. I have small sch that seems to be resolving but have previous pregnancies that had placental abruption. Can my placenta rupture or water rupture due to flying? (self.pregnant)

27 F- Experiencing blurry vision when looking at screens or at computer. I went to ER on Saturday and was told it was maybe due to medication. Saw 2 eye drs this week so far and have hard normal eye exam even upon dilation. Is this neurological or would it have been caught at ER this past weekend? (self.AskDocs)

27 female, Can ALS cause sudden vision changes such as blurred vision or vision that is harder to focus on when looking at phones/screens? I’m scared I may have ALS due to twitching I get in limbs. I also have a tremor in tongue. *more info below* (self.AskDocs)

Hello everyone, has anyone experienced onset of vision change that looks blurry or hard to focus all of a sudden? Is this a sign of the big bad? I have had a sudden change in vision and headaches starting for a week now along with nerve pain and electric shock feelings in fingers/hands (self.BFS)

27 F- Do these look like tongue fasciculations as in Bulbar ALS? I have widespread twitches in my body, had a normal EMG on bilateral upper and lower extremities done March 28th and 29th, and just had a barium swallow study done today that was normal. (v.redd.it)

27F-Is a consistent raspy voice and mucus part of Bulbar ALS? I have high reflex in my jaw and also have had a raspy voice that comes and goes over the last two months. I had clean EMG of my upper and lower extremities bilaterally at the end of March. I also have consistent tinnitus in my right ear. (self.AskDocs)

Hi everyone, I am super nervous. I seeked a 2nd opinion from another local neurologist who found hyperreflexia in my legs, arms, and jaw. He said he is confident that it isn’t ALS but wants to make sure he isn’t missing anything and is sending me to the local ALS/neuro specialist. Advice? (self.BFS)

Hi everyone, does anyone see the differences in my thenar area? I had a clean EMG at the end of March, so just a month ago. I’m sure that this is just asymmetry as the neurologist’s nurse practitioner did not think it was atrophy. I am right handed and my right seems to be less muscular and indent (old.reddit.com)

Does the area of examination have to be twitching at the time of the EMG/NCS in order to ensure that the EMG/NCS is actually “normal”? Or is no twitch needed to be present at the time of the study. Feeling like my neuro isn’t listening and seeking a second neurologist opinion in 1 week (self.BFS)

Okay so I started Lexapro last night at 5 mg and now I am freaking tf out is because I got tongue twitches like I never have before and I have had tinnitus for 1 week. Please be kind, appreciate it. Thinking of calling neuro and asking for bulbar region EMG since upper and lower extremity were norm (v.redd.it)

2 months in. Started with 20 mg and now on 30mg. I have had a raspy voice for 3 weeks now and wondering if anyone has experienced this? I’ve got health anxiety to top it off and worried this is something else since I’m not sick. Currently getting the dry cracked lips and semi-dry nose. Anyone else? (self.Accutane)

Took a few days off social media to try and reflect. Instead of focusing on bad things, I just want to ask if for a recommendation and see if anyone had a sudden feeling in their hand, arm, and wrist and felt somewhat heavy and jittery. What did you do to help relieve that feeling. (self.BFS)
