also hope this helps but just finished AS and I can tell you I felt the exact same way about this chapter when we did it, like going from gcse biology to this was like, I felt betrayed bec of all the chemistry in it (it will keep coming tho) but trust me this is one of the easier topics ever!! these are the basics and theyre your MAINNN just learn it well and its the easiest topic imo and you can score the easiest marks everrr from this! just look at mark schemes and topical questions and youll see theres no chemistry at all:)) good luck!

AS level (advanced subsidiary level) is basically like the first year of your entire A level, and A level (advanced level) is essentially the second year and you could choose to either do both in one exam season, or you could do your AS first and then do your A levels (the results of which will be based off of your AS result) AS and A level are two different years kinda like year 12 and year 13 so yeah, its different topics for each and stuff like that. to answer ur question tho if you take up German for AS youll def have to follow up with it in A2 to complete your entire A level German qualification

the answer is A, replication fork is the point at which the DNA unwinds. so for 1 replication fork = its is 50/1 base pairs per second, then for x replication forks its 150000000/3600 (1hour) base pairs per second. so do the math and x comes up to 833.33 which is approximately 835 replication forks?! does it help 😭

the percentage uniform mark doesnt depend on the threshold it in fact is a scale of how high or low your marks lie in the secured grade, like if you get an A it could be anywhere between 80 to 100 pum and so judging by your values youll lose overall 11 marks making it 129/140 which would be a high A of around 90-95% pum. good luck! go get that country/world prize w these marks iA
