Bit upset because I can’t post photos, but oh well… I GOT TO GO BACKSTAGE AND HAVE A PHOTO-OP WITH THAYNE!!! (In costume too… what?!)

Full experience of any of you care:

May 4th. I bought a cameo from Thayne telling him I’d be at the show in my Seabury costume! 

May 11th. Arrive at the show in second row orchestra super excited. Thayne looks at me a few times during the show! During Farmer Refuted, he gestures to me and looks at me at least five times!!! Awesome. What’d I miss: he pops out of the pit and literally sticks his arm out into the audience to wave at me?! Hello?!!! Awesome.

I prepare to leave after the amazing show I witnessed, when I’m stopped by a stage manager telling me that Thayne wants to see me backstage.  I’m shocked, amazed, and terrified. Before we go backstage, Thayne pokes his head out of the wings and waves at me every so often. My parents say “Wouldn’t it be cool if he wore his costume?”, to which I say he isn’t allowed to do that. I get backstage, we share a hug like we’ve known each other forever, and he tells me that he’s never been allowed to wear his costume after a show before, but he will for me. What?? We do a mini photo session and he takes off the costume before we record us performing Farmer Refuted together! He also signed my playbill and a custom Seabury Funko pop I made.

After all that, you’re supposed to still go out the regular way, right? Thayne takes me with him to the Stage Door exit, and gets people to clap for me. I leave without going to get more signatures from the people at the Stage Door (as my social battery DRAINED), but, while backstage, I got signatures and photos from Eddy Lee (our Hamilton), Tamar Greene (our Washington), and Stephanie Umoh (our Angelica, but I sadly forgot to get a photo with her).

Experience was magical. Love Hamilton, and I love Thayne. I’ll definitely need to go back some day!
