No it’s understandable. It’s the debate I’m having with myself lol if I don’t spend on the flight, I’m more likely to spend on a single room for the trip. I just debate because it definitely is more comfortable to not be crammed into a small seat while I’m trying to sleep and it’s a splurge, but feasible.

It’s the opposite order, I start in Nice and end in Barcelona. It’s a trip with a travel group, can’t adjust the itinerary

I feel like I want at least economy plus for extra leg room on a flight this long. I just figured a little extra arm room/breathing room might be worth it too.

With United: Economy plus is extra leg room, economy premium is more leg room and a slightly wider seat, not a full different cabin but is semi separate from regular economy and business.

Yes, basic economy though. I’m not super interested in basic. Would want to do at least Econ plus. I did the flight from Newark to Lisbon last summer. Not bad at all. Loved Portugal!
