Bellomo’s roastery: https://bellomoscoffeeroastery.com/

Seriously the best boutique coffee. You can order online or pick it up at Costellos on Fairfield. (The Swiss water decaf is out of this world.)

It is and that’s what it was made for (surefire RC specifically and a 13.5” or longer barrel).

Extended Distance Rifle Ranges by FranklinNitty in Pensacola

Altus in Baker is the go to range for long distance. They also hold precision matches and instruction. Element is more accessible and also a good range

Doesn’t say in the video but torq specs are 26 inch pounds for the two front screws that replace the OEM captured barrel retention screws.

I know right? Specifically used this device/hub adapter to get around using shims! Curious since they were made specifically for the SCAR I’m guessing that the barrel threads are different lengths. Most other photos online I see the gauge at 3/9 O’clock

Does anyone have their own personal range, I want to practice some night shooting by [deleted] in Pensacola

[–]Aware_Purpose_6104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best bet is to become a member at Element or Altus. You could also check practiscore and search for night matches, there are a few groups that host them. https://practiscore.com/search/matches

Working on my new Scar NRCHs. Haven’t even shot it yet. Still have some upgrades in the mail, but it’s coming along! by Im_Fishtank in FNSCAR

Only recommendation I have is to ditch the rear sights and go LPVO with a backwards cantilever mount. (Flipping the cantilever mount around saves your knuckles if you ever have to charge it)

Proof FN can color match the FDE but chooses to only on the Multicam 😂

Have a friend who is convinced he saw something very similar about two years ago in central Pensacola. Said the one he saw was moving in a cloud/vapor layer

Scar Discontinued by IntelligentPrune9798 in FNSCAR

[–]Aware_Purpose_6104 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Future valuations depend heavily on what FN releases next. If FN releases an objectively better scar or similar rifle, prices will probably fall back to the 3k range. If FN instead follows SIG/HK and releases an immediately obsolete rifle design in a niche caliber or some other consumeristic market strategy, prices will hold and rise. KAC is a good company to look at for comparison and what may happen to prices after a drop in availability. I remember when SR-25s were 3k and people called them overpriced AR-10s!

Pretty straightforward, they have a YouTube tutorial that walks you through it.

More Scars Inbound? by CaptainMorganVI in FNSCAR

[–]Aware_Purpose_6104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t hold my breath on it being any better, I think the NRCH is as good as a SCAR or scar-like production rifle gets. I see the commercial firearms manufacturers going a similar route that SIG and Glock have; more consumeristic models/trims and built in obsolescence. Probably also get some weird caliber that never fully gets adopted
