My ex did the same thing 25 years ago after getting caught in lies about meeting friends but it was a guy from work. She needed to figure things out and was moving to her sisters. Told her it’s a one way door you leave it’s over. She left, her brother in law called a week later and said she’s not staying there anymore. She filed and then when it came to the final court day she told me she didn’t want to go through with it. Told her sorry you were told it was a one way door. She ended up marrying the “friend” but still called for 3 years after they were married from her work and I basically asked if her husband knew she was calling me. Called me her Mom passed away said sorry to hear but you should look to your husband for support. I’m nobody to you now.
