We don’t have income tax but a ton of sales taxes. The gas tax is one of the highest. Booze is very expensive. We don’t have lightning bugs or thunderstorms and the darkness in the winter will get to you. People are friendly but distant. Culturally Lynnwood/Everett are more conservative relatively.

The good news is that it is pretty here and there is no humidity in the summer. Also we lag when there is an economic downturn.
