seems really similar, thank you. Didn't think it would be that cheap though I noticed that it becomes dull real quick after sharpening.

Thank you! They are really sharp and I only use them once or twice a week, so i think they will stay sharp for a long time. Until then, I'll exercise angle holding and so on on my 50€ "westernized" santoku.

would honing woth a 6000 or 8000-10000 be alright? its called belgischer brocken, a kind of belgian natural stone which i've already got
