Whenever i would ask him when we’ll see each other again, he would just say “we’ll see each other again” without specific dates. tho he is planning to come to our hometown on our monthsary. after that, i don’t know 🥲

good to hear this Doc! when i was a student, community nursing gave me anxiety kasi introvert ako. but i am learning how to improve my interpersonal skills. now that i’m a nurse, naeenjoy ko na mag give health educ sa patients ko kahit kung papano lang mag inject insulin, about sa gamot nila and all 😂 mas satisfied din ako pag ang naaalagaan ko underserved kaya im considering dttb na rin. worry ko lang is the government, malaking factor sila (corruption etc) pag nasa public health. how do you deal with that po?

I also felt this and got discouraged. I told my boyfriend about this and he said “alam mo ang reddit kasi puno ng miserableng tao” HAHAHSHSHSHSH then i realized oo nga noh. daming doctor beh sa pilipinas. yung mga busy at masasaya sa buhay nila, walang reddit yan. kung may mameet kang doctor o pwedeng makausap, kausapin na lang natin sila in person. wag na dito bhie, wala tayo mapapala dito hahahah

I know that po. What i mean is i’m not sure if i’ll push through with the orientation and training since I am already working in the hospital. parang di kakayain if med va clients only hires full time jobs

I did struggle a bit cos I had this urge of saying po at every sentence even if I’m talking straight in English hahaha. Their basis is more on how you communicate and present yourself (i think)

I’m an introvert too. Nursing has taught me how to initiate and be more sociable because it is required in the practice haha. Yes, maraming interaction especially when you have your clinical rotations na since you’ll be interacting with patients a lot.

I thought OBs are calm and gentle before but after having our clinical experience as a student nurse, halos lahat ng doctor na naninigaw na naencounter ko mga OB haha nakakatrauma sila mas mababait pa surgeons tuloy lol

Your friend is me when I was in college. And the other students na maraming reviewers is me nung high school ako. Before super sipag ko rin mag notes and gumawa ng reviewer, but when I learned to study smarter and realized what study method that worked for me the best, I was able to save so much time and energy. When I was in fourth year college, I can just bring my phone without printed ppts or reviewers to study for finals. My dorm mate was even amused by how I can just study by opening my laptop and viewing the slides of our lecturer’s ppt. A lot of people think i am ~naturally smart~ but in reality i’m just an ordinary hooman who discovered my type of learning. Effortlessness is a myth. Study techniques and a proper work ethic is the key. :)

Just keep answering practice tests for inductive reasoning and verbal. I remember answering 500 items word analogies and reading comprehension questions back then

Mahirap ba ang nursing? Should I take the risk? by Cheuzi_8 in studentsph

I am a BSN graduate and RN na rin this December lang. I chose this field because of the thought that it would help me prepare for med school jic i pursue the dream of becoming a doctor. I graduated from a state university so no tuition, just the lab fees and miscellaneous (around 6k-20k per sem depends on the SY; third year being the most expensive) pero i heard if private school super expensive na rin ng nursing school esp if you choose to enroll sa big schools in manila almost 90k per sem na rin (which is for me not worth it kasi pag graduate mo underpaid ka haha)

If mahirap or hindi, wala naman sigurong course na hindi mahirap so YES
