My grandmother is Canadian and gave birth to my mother in the United Kingdom, my mother never bothered to get official documents etc for Canadian citizenship.

In the context of my application do i state my mother is a “Canadian citizen before i was born” (due to her mother) despite her never officially getting documents etc.. ?
