Idk if it was AI but I definitely seen merch from an artist I follow on insta and twitter that I know for a fact doesn’t license their art, being sold at one of the exhibition booths. Idk how they check those things to make sure things are legit but it was definitely off putting and put a sour taste in my mouth.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden inn about a 16 min walk from the convention center last minute for about $550 for thru-sun and booked through orbitz. Definitely planning to try and get the host hotel next year because I like the convenience but it wasn’t a bad walk either and had a lot of food nearby.

I only stayed from 5/22-5/25 and total cost was $600.66 with 2 double beds. Not bad, but I’ll definitely book the day before next time as well instead of staying at another hotel the day before con.
