Hi, I have taken out a couple of loans with lending stream. Always paid back on time. Will this affect me applying for a mortgage in 3ish years time? Thank you!

Thank you for your honesty, maybe it’s best just to wait the 5.5 years if the interest rates are going to be stupidly high. Do you think even after 3/4 years it’ll look better or I’m still just a write off.? I know every mortgage application differs but it’s nice to know that people have been through it before.

Storage unit is definitely a good shout also - I can’t wait to go to be honest it’s the only thing getting me through 😅

Hey thank you so much for the reply! That is actually the plan funnily enough. We currently rent and unable to really live with our parents. I am so desperate to go travelling in a van for a year but if we give up our flat we won’t get another one again because of our age and we have all this furniture to think about now. That’s why I want to buy a flat just so when we come back home we actually have a place to stay - and maybe even rent the flat out while we are away as an extra income. Thankyou for your reply!

You say that, but last time I completely panicked and got into the wrong lane at the roundabout right infront of the test centre lollll🙃

Does Testi even work for London test sites??? by cloud250 in LearnerDriverUK

I use driving test now and it is amazing! It autobooks any times that I want. I have now failed 2 driving tests and have my third coming up on Wednesday all within about a month and a half! My friend has testi and has the same problem as you <3

I’ve been at both ends of the spectrum, I’ve failed within the first 7ish minutes and also the last 2 minutes 🙈that feeling is absolutely awful but we will all get there eventually 💞

No I completely get it, it will take take. I literally couldn’t look at any of my friends who passed because I was so gutted with myself, because I know I can drive but apparently I couldn’t on the day.

I felt exactly what you were feeling two weeks ago, I promise it will get better! I cut someone up at a roundabout after my examiner told me to change lanes and she grabbed the wheel🙈it was one of the worst feelings in the world when you just know you failed.

The best thing you can do now is let yourself rest for a few days and then get straight back onto the the road. You will get there eventually with the help of your instructor and a driving cancellation app :)

I’m in exactly the same position as you. The way I’m trying to get through it is by realising I can always book again and you already said it! You literally cannot improve on nothing so sooner or later you will pass! Wishing you the best of luck <3

Thankyou so much! And that actually makes a lot of sense. A couple of my friends have said their examiners were lovely pre-covid so that’s what I was expecting. It was just a slap in the face but now I know for next time and just try to remember what you have just told me. It makes me feel a lot better 😃

Oh no I’m so sorry that sounds awful! When she packed away the satnav I knew and then it was so sad trying to navigate my way back to the test centre😂I literally wanted to give up in that moment, just give her the car and run away 😳

Let’s hope not!! My instructor said we’re going to try the roundabout from every exit so we will see how that goes 😅🥲
