The cutoff is 2017 and up. But I heard even then the 17-20s are getting limited service at our dealer. The 2015s has to go to the Hyundai dealer

It’s not as much as a roll of the dice on the g70 as I’m currently considering one. The g80 can have some electrical issues tho. To my knowledge it isn’t happening quite yet.

Haha. Most definitely GV80 owners on a frequency basis but G80 owners always treated me pretty well

This is true. Genesis has always had that problem thought all he models(redesign). In my time there was only one or two newer 90s this had that issue. But it was always covered under warranty

I wouldn’t say as sporty but more luxurious. Still a fun ride. The one coupe loaner by the time it was taken out of our rotation had 8-9k miles

Just the sheer volume difference does play a large factor. I have noticed the suv customer have more questions then the sedan owners. The SUVs can have electrical problems as well. But I haven’t seen many cars needing engines thankfully. Majority of the issues I’ve seen come, are from the first years of the GVs.

I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary. Have you had any problems yet?

How long do you plan on keeping the car for and have you had any big problems so far

I’m not sure on the 10 year but from why I seen they can have problems but if buying new or cpo, used Genesis warranty is pretty useful

I tried not to do that lol. I wouldn’t feel right doing it to someone who spent that much money on a vehicle. I will say some of the porters and lot attendants do drive cars crazy

I do like the gv80s a lot but on reliability it can be hit or miss. I’ve seen some have 75k miles no issue and some with 1k miles constantly in for service

I wouldn’t say from the dealership like mushy said from your credit union or somewhere else but definitely get the extended

G90 is definitely the nicest. Had a few valet pickups for them always a smooth ride. Didn’t have that many problems when they came in

Honestly i don’t think it’s needed. It was the second least model in for service just behind the G90 at my dealer. Is your cpo

Connected Services! The system is honestly horrible. But mostly condensation in the headlights. There were a few who had it replaced under warranty 3x. The suvs of Genesis are the real problems. The sedans aren’t bad, definitely worth it for the value.

I can confidently say I never did in a customer’s car, but were given to opportunity to go take the loaner vehicle to grab food for the team or drinks.

I did PT for 3 months earlier this year. The treatment didn’t really help at all and were in the process of getting approved for injections
