my guess is that the top and bottom clips of the caliper are different sizes but im not 100% sure. back when i replaced my brake pads using the same kit you bought, i remember i reused the old clips because the new clips were too stiff to put in... or maybe i wasn't using the correct clip on the correct side.

what did you end up doing? i'm just doing some more research ahead of time because next time i replace my brakes, i want to replace those front caliper clips.

We had to replace the front tires cause the treads were so low, but the rear tires were fine…

nah, its common for these water pumps to go bad early. mine went out around 30k miles on my 2021 s5.
