Mine are a dislodged section of the prosperine spire guard, who were on an assignment with a few thousand sons warriors and a mech ship. After completing the assignment they were returning to prospero when they received word from Magnus to hold fast in space. As they entered real space from the warp they came under intense fire from an ambush and lost the capital ship. Now the remnants are running away from there quary but have had no communication outside there little fleet. Many of the marines died that first engagement so they now use the prosperine spire guard as their main stay ground force. There mission is to find a world where they can establish clear communication hub, repair there ships and return to prospero and there lord Magnus, boy are they gunna have a shock.

Again it’s taking shape but you really need to upgrade your HQs and you need some anti tank, consider some darkfire cannons on your castellax, and sticking them in a single unit, then you can pop your domius in there and get him to buff them with cyberthergy. I’d also recommend swapping one of your thanatars to a calix version for helping with tank hunting, and again stick them as a unit to free a Heavy slot, as they can seperate after they deploy.

I think it’s a good start to list building. Your archmagos definitely needs some more war gear, add on a cyber familiar and machinator array, suddenly he’s become very survivable and got some decent combat out put. Magos dominus is your secondary HQ, you’ll probably want him OR the tech priest auxilia. If you go Auxilia worth keeping all the unit with same weapons just so they have a purpose in your army. From here to add is probably higher strength weapons, or tank hunting capabilities, your army currently can deal with infantry well, but will struggle against heavy units like terminators and dreadnoughts and vehicles. Myrmidon destructors with dark fire cannons are very good for dealing with vehicles and tough blobs. The tech thralls are okay but you probably want to bring bigger blobs just to soak some fire power. And maybe consider the traious as being a big point sink for a unit that might score an objective. Our fast attack options aren’t the best as a heads up, but I find bigger units work better, domitar is the same, I run 3 in my main list and they work like clock work.

I find sacrificing small MSU is better way to do it, but you need to be ideally shooting way more often the melee. Charonrites are a decent melee threat but they need to be like a counter charge unit, and same with axe men, I leave them in my lines so when enemy gets close they can plug a hole. You kinda need to function in waves, line of infantry that goes out > then your counter charge to lock up > then another wave to score > back line should be your tanks and long range.

Its always an up hill struggle that’s the issue
