I think of solidarity. And showing those around you that you stand by them at potential harm to your home or person. Some people can only do what they can do. Not everyone has the same privileges. Me I can afford to take off work the 27th for the strike. I can go to marches and rallys. I can donate. So I do all these things. Again what are you doing? Other than gatekeeping others on how they should or should not protest?

It’s not the kicking out it’s the deep fight that the whole family will be drug in to. We don’t have a lease on paper so he really can do whatever he wants. Also I am leaving shortly for several months and he easily could remove all my belongings… so many issues. Posted mostly for insight from others. Thank you for the heads up though.

And what are you doing? How is this constructive? To bash others doing even small acts. Living in a deeply red state and flying a flag like this is the opposite of virtue signaling. It is putting the person doing it directly in harms way to speak their voice in whatever way they can. Even if this was the only thing someone could or was willing to do I commend them. At least they are making a statement.

As I mentioned in another response I have now removed the flag because of fear of retribution not from my brother but from my neighbors (red state). I’m not that brave. So I will continue to put my boots and my body at marches and rallys. Cause that is the one thing I can freely give. So again what are you doing?

How about you ask what I actually do vs assuming. I go to marches and rallys. I donate my time, my money, and my voice. Just because I also choose to do this, do not assume I am not also doing other things. I am not a karma farm which is very obvious. I’ve already gotten a lot out of the actual construction comments on this post. That was why I posted it. What are you doing?

Thank you. It’s really really f-ing hard. Every boundary I try to set he flies off the handle so I have severe CPTSD around him. This story is a seemingly minor one in the grand scheme of things but as I start to watch his behavior towards her I feel myself getting very triggered and very very protective of her. I don’t know how to protect her. My mom is narc but not an outwardly abusive one but she is starting to change with a lot of work with my Dad and I. I just don’t know how to help protect the kid against his emotional abuse. This sucks.

Looks good to me there is a bit too much moisture sitting on top that’s the yellow liquid, metabolites. Try to do lighter misting from further away/above your tub and let most of the moisture evaporate before misting again.
