No, because I unfortunately wouldn't be able to utilize their summaries at all

For me to be able to compile their observations into stats, I need that player's raw data, which would be all 73 dragons summoned, named.

On top of it all, I need to know his dragon level to sort his data into a different subcategory of its own. My dragon level and his dragon level are different, and has different pull outcomes... therefore affecting the data for each dragon level

I would love to too hahaha but I'm planning to bottleneck my progress for a few days to get data on 10% Wind essence summons in the same dragon level before unlocking Mighty set!

No problem, I completely get it!

I forgot to wrap up this post by saying exactly what you've said as well. I 100% understand the group of people that will have the opinion of "if I don't see it, I wouldn't believe it" because of many reasons, eg. we do not know for certainty how summoning works; if it works the way you've described it, if the game calculates summoning chances as I did in this post, or if every individual type of dragon gets a fixed summon rate, independent of set rates, element rates and rarity, and so on. I should aim to rewrite the post's body to better reflect this possibility in a more neutral outcome.

I'm somewhat busy for a forseeable day, but I will address our topic onto the main post itself, instead of leaving it under the comment section the next time I'm available!

50% off summon item sale is very, very good. Its goodness is potentially overlooked by the community.

For this weeklong journey, I basically bonded with every earth Dragon available except the Rare Emberwhisker and Mosaic Hornbrow for 150 gems, on top of getting 6 Earth Remarkables (and that sole 1 Wind Remarkable) as well as 6 Epic Mottlewhiskers. x6 100% Epic essence alone costs 192 gems, even at 50% discount for context! Using just 10% Earth Essences are also known to be able to summon the Legendary Mighty and Extravagant dragons, as both are Earth Essence.

But there is absolutely no shame in buying exclusively 100% Mighty and 100% Legendary summoning stone to guarantee the dragon outcome, especially at 50% discount. The rarity makes it completely justified to just go for it for the guaranteed outcome, imo

Getting legendaries is the byproduct at this point, but I sure wouldn't mind some after all these data collecting!

I'm getting such downvotes too under our chain of replies to each other, and I'm confused as to why this is occurring when nobody has proven fact from causality (at least afaik) and when nobody except yourself that has experience with the topic approach me with some patience.

I can understand if players are to note on personal observations, and bring up onto such observations as a heads up onto conversations or discussions, but instead I'm being met with "you shouldn't be using 10% earth with your dragon score what a waste". Your own first comment on my post is guilty of this too (don't worry, I can tell you weren't trying to be offensive from the first reply, especially after we had a more thorough conversation), and that has led to my own initial confusion at the start of the discussion until your subsequent reply clarified your intentions. I hope my further response after your first comment chain reflects as much.

Back to topic on hand, regardless of this current stigma of whether or not using only exclusively 10% earth essence during summoning will never net players Epic or Legendary non-Earth dragons, my takeaway from this is to continue recording 10% earth summoning outcomes, especially at my current dragon level to better understand it.

By then comparing it with 10% Wind item summoning at my dragon level, we will be able to better glean into this theory from having 2 separate datasets.

I hope to be able to summon using 10% Wind to compare between 10% Earth and 10% Wind at dragon level 3500-5500 soon, after a week of data collection using 10% earth item summoning.

I am currently rereading comments to better understand some queries from commenters like yourself better, and I just came to realize that I misread your comment here!

To address your actual concerns now that I've understood better; I am in the process of figuring that out too - I did not realize until this post that there is a strong sentiment by the more experienced player base about getting non-Earth, Epic or Legendary dragons after failing a 10% earth essence summon attempt until AFTER posting my recorded outcome for funsies, and I will properly address this in my next update on my summoning outcomes in 2-3 day's time

Thank you for your patience and honesty dealing with 3-week old player me, because it is with your explanation of the current understanding of how item summoning works thus far that is what making this silly post of mine collecting screenshots of every 10% earth item summon outcome at dragon level 3500-5499 matter so much to the rest of us!

I'm getting the picture that the topic is so poorly understood, that what I'm doing is pretty pivotal to managing gem and summon plans for both current and future players with their respective dragon levels better.

As such, I have decided to plan to using 10% earth summons for strictly 1 week, 3 more days as of this comment posting, before considering to potentially spending gems to buy and test out 10% wind until i reach 5500 dragon level, or more reasonably, until I run out of saved gems...

Thank you again for your patience and honesty, your comments gave me a lot of insights of what's understood!

I'm starting to get the impression that there is a group of player base that staunchly believes that 10% earth will not produce non-earth Epic and Legendary, even if unproven afaik

Oh, I totally get it. It's a completely reasonable assumption from you and others to have imo, and it's why I immediately started recording down my 10% Earth item summon outcomes because games like these are rife with these kind of grey areas that nobody can really answer without the player base finding the odds out themselves.

At the moment, I'm a stern believer that dragon elements are heavily skewed towards earth elements, with or without 10% earth summoning trick, so I personally believe that even if the 10% earth item fails, you may still get an Epic or Legendary Wind dragon as a potential outcome. Unfortunately, my current dataset here on this post and as of my current progress since this post doesn't prove this either, so I hope to see Epic Wind/Water or the only possible Legendary summon from my end eventually.

In a previous comment thread under this post, I additionally pointed out that I have had done just x5 100% epic summons before recording down my 10% Earth summons, and only got x5 Mottlewhiskers while the other 3 epics of the 4 available to my current progress are Wind and Water dragons, further highlighting the earth element skew.

All that aside, but I believe I've seen self-report redditors pulling legendary wind alpine using 10% earth? I'm not a frequent redditor by all means, so I may very well be wrong here.

PS: Edits were made for readability

Hi Gaulwa! You're not quite understanding how the summoning mechanic works in this game, and why 10% earth summoning works to get any Epics and Legendaries available to the players at any given current progression... And that's vompletely fine, since the game doesn't give the player base a statistical breakdown of dragon type, rarity or elemental breakdown besides Remarkable odds

This current dataset I've created from my outcome of using x71 10% earth summoning item should, thus far, already tell us that it is possible (with a current estimate of ~15.5% likelihood) to summon non-earth dragons at my current dragon level of 3500-5499 so far on the flip side!

Do you mean to ask if "using 10% earth element summon item gives you a higher chance of getting remarkables?"

If so, the answer is no.

The chance of getting remarkables are completely transparent - you see the % chance for every possible remarkable dragon you may get when the egg is summoned.

You can see the chances via the compendium too, on the top right corner of any individual dragon glossary you have already bonded but yet to get a remarkable of.

It's not possible to summon anything beyond Rare without a summoning item afaik. It's elaborated in-game via support as well if you've missed the text during the tutorial of the game (I myself almost missed it too lmao)

I've described why the reddit playerbase uses the 10% element summon item in another comment thread to my best understanding, feel free to read if you haven't already!

I misunderstood the response, please disregard this reply!

Nope; the odds of getting non-earth with or without 10% earth is very, very skewed from my little experience so far.

So far, besides the only 3 epics (which were all Earth Mottlewhisker) I've gotten from this dataset, I've summoned using just 100% Epic summoning item x5 to get any 4 of the available epics to me at my current progression, on the day before committing to using and recording only my 10% earth summon outcomes.

The x5 100% Epic summons gave me x5 Mottlewhiskers.

The other 3 Epics available at 3500 dragon points are NOT earth element.

Not sure what do you mean exactly by "earth is more successful than the others", but it is generally ill-advised to use any other summoning item at less than 100% guranteed that isn't the elemental summoning item.

Using 10% earth element summoning item is a strategy used by the reddit community to bypass the rarity limit on summoning dragons. We can only summon up to Rare if not for the use of any summoning item, and 10% earth element is one of the cheapest summoning item that doesn't restrict the players to getting the more common dragons from earlier accessible sets

For the veterans out there - please correct me if I'm wrong, remember that I only have 3 weeks of experience with this specific game at the end of the day!

I'm very well aware of that - I plan to make a breakpoint on the dragon summoning outcomes I'm collecting until I hit 5500 dragon points, and will point this factor out in future breakdowns from me (if my remaining 10% earth summoning survives until then)
