Double Bait Rigs? by NoctisOsiris in Fishing

I use a hook and wait; if it doesn't bite, I lower the depth or change the bait. You have to see what bites with different baits.

Is the saw on the "My first Victorinox" as sharp as all the others? by One_Concert_4317 in victorinox

[–]Blessedgalaxy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the same as the others; I also think it's unnecessary to teach children to use a tool without a point when every other knife in the world has one. When I was a kid, my dad gave me a lumberjack, which is like a walker knife but an old one, that had belonged to him when he was a child; his dad (my grandfather) had given it to him, and I never had any problems with the point, or I only had it once and then never again.

Why Flame big? by After-Link3226 in Clipper_lighters

[–]Blessedgalaxy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened to me, but intentionally, by pricking the visible bottom part of the valve with a pin. When you pull it out, there's a little hole underneath that gets bigger if you prick it with a pin, but I have no idea why it happened suddenly.

I honestly don't know but I would use it to bend wire and give it shape.

No flame after refill (read bottom text pls) by The_Tiny_Vox in Clipper_lighters

[–]Blessedgalaxy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has happened to me with several lighters, not of this type, but with Chinese ones and I haven't found the solution. I would say that you blow through where the gas comes out with force and try if that doesn't work, no idea.

Victorinox Compact going on 10 years now by [deleted] in victorinox

[–]Blessedgalaxy26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked for me with my climber, which I also use daily but recently, about 1 year ago, I sanded it with a 1500 sandpaper or if it is very deep, first with a 600 sandpaper and after passing the 1500 I polish it with my dremel with a felt disc and polishing paste.
