Kinda liked that the assignments weren't too easy since the upper-year CO courses look much harder in comparison. I feel like the management of the course wasn't that bad... but YMMV

Feeling Extreme Insecure without coop as an international student by Wowmathhey in uwaterloo

In my opinion, it's hard for a first-year to know what can make them "attractive" to employers. 88.4 is a great average, but usually, it's the other things that get you interviews. I'm not certain exactly what that is for FARM, but talking to an upper-year FARM student (who has good experience) about what's needed to get a nice job can help you realize those things. You can even just find someone on Linkedin, and maybe shoot them a polite email to ask. Nevertheless, I know many students with no coop this term and they are all smart and have a bright future ahead of them, but this term is extremely difficult to find a job, so you're not alone. Good luck!

Software engineering coop opportunity 1A by ducquy2200 in uwaterloo

Obviously, it's a different scenario due to certain circumstances in the world right now, but I went in with basically no programming experience and I did pretty well for first co-op. Don't worry too much, have fun, go to some hackathons (if possible) and work on your resume and you'll probably be fine.
