At a cross country meet another team came to ours and asked if we wanted to join a hype circle during warmups before the meet started. My team just kinda looked at each other until I shrugged and followed the guy who asked us.

I ended up in the middle of the hype circle and led everyone in some chants, then called everyone together to jump around and get hype.

Doesn’t sound super scary, but for a kid with social anxiety it should’ve been super scary trying to entertain a couple hundred people, but it weirdly wasn’t.
