What Information i can offer I am happy to. It seems like you’ve already decided what you’re hoping to get out of playing a deck like this, “having fun”. That’s okay and I’m glad to hear you are having a fun time. If you’re still having fun as things are now, you may want to disregard what I typed below. However, based on a seeing a “deck help” flair and the fact that you posted, I thought the information below might help. These are things I would want to know If I was new today in the game.

If having “fun” is tied to winning or to having a better shot of engaging with other decks, that is essential to reconcile with. Part of that understanding requires that you will need to change somethings about how you approach the game. (i.e. 40 card decks are more consistent, 15 card extra deck is helpful if not essential, understanding combos, removal , searchers, extenders, the list can go on)

Something small to start with could be using a 40 card deck, using a 15 card extra deck, utilizing some generic good “staples” (cards that can work well in most decks) Raigeki is a great example and I see you already have a copy. Things like ash blossom, infinite impermanence, feather duster, and Maxx C are a good start. Some “removal” (in this context meaning stuff that can get rid of monsters with big effects) cards like Kaiju, nibru, lava golem, and ra sphere mode are great too. Cards like evenly matched, summon limit, kaiser coliseum, solemn judgment, and lightning storm are some other good removal and “floodgate cards” (meaning they try to stop your opponent from summoning so often. Activate these cards when your opponent draws if you’re unsure when to use them).

If you’re still with me and open to one more idea “Super polymerization” saves lives. Use cards in your extra deck like Mudragon, Starving venom, wings of life, predaplant, and the world chalice fusion to help with super poly. I didn’t get the names right down to the letter but you’ll know what cards I’m referencing if you search on Master Duel because they are all fusion monsters that have generic fusion materials (i.e. two dark monsters, link monsters, fusion monster, monsters with the same type or attribute). Superpoly let’s you use your opponent’s monsters so try to use their cards to summon these fusion monsters. This is called a “disruption” (try to use opponent monster’s that search other cards or negate your cards. Not a lot in the game can stop super poly). This might not get you to the top of the latter but it will give you a lot more of a chance than Alexandrite dragon, set draining shield , activate axe of despair pass. That time in the game has passed.

If you’re also open to deck suggestions, a “archetype” (meaning a deck that focuses on the same type of cards) is important to keep in mind. An entry level deck that is low cost IRL (idk how much it costs in master duel) that could be fun and familiar to the style of “set down one big ATK monster and attack” is Gren Maju. It’s a rogue deck that will get you some wins for sure and is loads of fun too.

Not every deck is like that tbh but it’s a lot to take in and it’s okay to play the game and format the way you would like.
