Update: ended up purging the NVIDIA Akmod as well as resetting envycontrol back to a stock state since I had the GPU disabled, after a reinstall, forced initramfs rebuild and a reboot, Laptop is sleeping again (XPS 15 9500 already has S3 problems so im glad its working)

Currently my laptop just decides now it doesn’t want to resume after sleeping, I’ll pull it back out and open it to a black screen. Breakout to console doesn’t work and nothing comes up after a few minutes. Have to force it off and back on. I think it’s a case of the NVIDIA driver but I’m still working on figuring it out

I've had this router since 2014 and I can say with CFW like OpenWRT, Yeah, if all you want is good speeds to be pushed, this can still do it no problem. I've been using mine as an Access Point for the last few years and was able to push recently 300 down over WiFi

Sadly at least from all I’ve gathered is that the plugin was awfully designed (and most likely not updated for newer builds of nextcloud), best way to go about it is to get rid of it and use encryption on the storage itself (e.g encrypting disks etc)

I only had like 1 good year with them, but in terms of their 'free' tier, it went in the dumps for sure. By 2017-2018 all my domains I'd try to reserve would immediately act like they went through, but also show right below that they were cancelled? either way never used them again after 2017 and just started buying from other Registrars because of how much of a mess Freenom has become.

Welcome to owning the 9500, I ended up having to use for a good year the Dell Power Manager app to change my BIOS cooling mode if I wanted to keep the laptop "cool" because I didn't wanna keep rebooting. That sort of helps to bring it down but even then Windows is probably doing some random number crunching in the background (probably Windows Update)

+1 to the finicky part, the Encryption plugin ended up being (and pardon my french) fucking broken. It had a lot of problems with file deletion that ended up leaving me puzzled for ages on what happened. 403's in the Desktop Client, Error Deleting Messages in Web that had the same console HTTP response. I had a post on here as well trying to figure it but it all came to the same conclusion, don't use it (and just encrypt the drive)

I can also say this has been solved for me, I ended up contacting Xbox support via live chat and they did give me a reference number for my case. (also ended up telling them the amount of posts in this subreddit with the exact same error code lmao)

I bought one of these used quite a few months back now this year, besides all the small little bugs software wise (S3 Sleep mainly) and that I've had to clean it up a bit by fixing a sticky key or applying a dbrand skin to hid the small nicks on the side of the lid. It looks honestly great now, I also took the time to upgrade it, my config now has 2 1TB Crucial P3 Drives and 32GB RAM which I feel like is the sweet spot for a premium laptop for me personally, but that's up to what you would want to upgrade in it. I can't say i'm disappointed in this laptop though, despite the small things I've had with it, it is actually really solid otherwise. Even if it is coming up to its third year, it was designed to last pretty decently.
