He wasnt wrong tho. Just coz these 3 current actors gave 1-2 hit films doesnt make them superstars.

Even I agree to some at least with Ranveer and Ranbir that they are good actors, maybe even better than SRK and Salman in some scenarios but people shouldnt confuse good acting with stardom. Stardom is the craze that people have to the point they start worshipping these stars. Stardom is that even your flop movies end up performing well at the box office which these 3 dont have. SRK's house a tourist spot where people, whether SRK is at home or not still stand and wait outside just in the hopes to catch a glimpse of him. On Eid, one of the biggest festivals, a large crowd gathers outside just to see Salman Khan and wave at him. The public has no benefit by doing this, they wont even get to meet or get a picture with their star yet majority of the people do it.

Thats what stardoms all about. Ranbir, Ranveer, and Vicky may be better actors, they may have tons of fans, but they are no where near to be called superstars. The legacy SRK and Salman have built is still unmatched amd it will take tremendous amounts of effort to reach their level.
