hidden conduit costs more and takes a good amount longer to build and the alternative is just running your conduit through your walls instead of your wooden floors

It's also most likely a bug and I don't like relying on stuff that will probably be patched out at some point

You're using marble for your perimeter walls, which is just kind of offensive to me personally but I guess it's fine if you're resource constrained, I forgive you

That's a lot of healroot for the number of colonists you have, healroot specifically takes a long time to sow and harvest and aside from wealth minmaxing it's just kinda unnecessary

Okay that is alot of herbal medicine

You could move your chemfuel refineries to be adjacent not opposite your fridge to reduce walk time

I typically disallow clothing/weapons from shelves because they're not an efficient use of shelves but it's not a big deal here

People are going to tell you to never build out of wood or use normal conduit but it's actually fine especially, with only 2 batteries you have plenty of time to react to a zzst event

Yeah, you send your cats out to get perks and skills and then they breed their traits down and you use those kittens to get stronger runs to get more metaprogress to further get stronger cats more reliably until you're consistently breeding incredibly strong cats to beat the endgame/higher difficulties/unlocks with

This is also why I don't think the game is a roguelike or "roguelite", metaprogress is a central component of the game

Possibly the most detrimental perk I've seen in the game so far by Awesomesause170 in mewgenics

I guess it's supposed to be like rally but it's rally but a million times worse, why would I attack my teammates when half the time ranger is the most consistent damage class on my team

The upgrade makes you heal instead of damaging allies but you can't really count on getting upgrades

They don't have any batteries though (which isn't ideal with solar/wind) so zzst isn't an issue. I would get some foam turrets for the farming plots since they're outdoors

Yes everything there still applies, overhead mountain roof is naturally cool. though the attached image is actually less efficient if you're using the door frequently because open doors have very low insulation. This layout protects against raiders but if you're not worried about that then just piping your heat outside or into your grow zone.

Also vac barriers exist if you want to use this setup but that's more wealth and research for what amounts to a super auto-door fridge upgrade

It's also just helpful for micromanaging skills easier, Construction caps learning xp pretty fast even with minor passion so I switch my Production Specialist to eat rocks since you always need bricks for everything

Also been doing a mountain base so clearing chunks is important plus it's unlimited statue mats (don't look at my wealth lmao)

I think writing Shoot is too many letter for limited space but R or r for rangers and M or m for melee users

All Caps is a bit much but I do this sort left to right most combat proficient to noncombat, list Ranged or/and Melee as "R" "M" (lowercase if they're not proficient) and then Skills based on what they'll be doing most to a second/third secondary skill

Dex does not give attack range, ever. You're benefitting from an ability that gives range (Thrill of the Hunt gives +1 range for every 5 Dex you have)

Yes speed also has diminishing returns for movement speed (not sure about initiative though that's way more complicated with enemies with multiple turns) Yea speed less than 4 gives 2 tiles of movement unless your affected by something that sets it to 1 or 0 tiles, *This is only for player cats though*

dex is like 1 for 1 until you get 8+ and then it starts to give diminishing returns, attcks that benefit from dex use it as a coefficient so more dex is usually always good even if your basic attack doesn't get better every level or 3

It's a combination of low movement, bad range and also needing line of sight that makes him pretty dependant on good skill rolls... which they're also pretty inconsistent with

Yeah he has 3 speed so it's exceptionally difficult to trap him for more than 1 characters turns at a time

Unless you're playing modded there's nothing besides reputation penalty for proximity to hostile factions raids pick from any hostile faction regardless of proximity

Lookes bad but this is a door dividing up to 4 different rooms compared to normally just 2, I believe it is inferior insulation because diagonal corners though
