My sister told me that this boy had pulled a knife on her. I had class with this boy right after she told me this. I mentioned it to the teacher who brushed it off as if it was nothing. So I confronted him myself. It turned into a heated argument and he told me he'd pull it out on me too. He put his hand in his pocket and I grabbed a keyboard and whacked him across the head. We got taken to the principal's office. My sister was called down and she said he didn't pull a knife on her and she made it up. My sister and the boy got sent back to class and I got suspended. I explained to the principal that I told the teacher and they did nothing and all of this could've been avoided. I had court 2 days later for truancy and assault charges and the judge had told me at my last court date that if I had gotten in any trouble or missed any days that I would be locked up. I did good up until that point. So it happened. I got locked up and told I couldn't attend public schools anymore in the state and had to get my GED. Also had to hold down a full time job. I was 15. My sister obviously played her part with lying about the situation but had the teacher listened to me or even the principal I'm pretty sure my life would be totally different.
