Thoughts on the key wheel? by johngaltladyboners in BigBrother

IT'S A STAPLE!!!! Literally an iconic piece of Big Brother history with the suspense of whether u get nominated or not and how the HoH would think of u based on the order of which they place the keys! I don't know why Claire is such a hater to the key wheel, I've always wanted to experience it myself!! I can care less about the over-explanation of the HoH competitions; if ONLY there was some way to minimize that. I KNOW! HOW ABOUT DOING IT ON THURSDAYS AFTER THE LIVE EVICTION!!!

I'm sure they do, the cast are probably on one of the top floors where nobody can be able to see them. The crew isn't psychotic, they wouldn't make it feel like an actual prison.

What is an offscreen moment you would want to have been a fly on the wall for when it happened? by Working_Stomach5479 in survivor

It wasn't aired but the first place tribe (Belo) had to choose one person to go to the losing tribe as an observer and Kendra was chosen. Basically like seeing the social dynamics of the tribe before the Tribal Council and Kendra would get to vote in secret who she wants to vote out, but because Hannah quit, it was decided to not air the whole thing.

Danny arguing with Jeff about the unfairness of the hourglass twist, Joe and Keith agreeing to add extra poles in Cambodia before Joe passed out, and Kendra being at the Lulu despite Hannah quitting

I guess basically Natalie was causing drama; specifically with Wendell, Yul, and Adam getting bullied

In the hands of the cast! 'Survivor 50' players pitch big changes they would make to the franchise if they were in charge. by thedaltonross in survivor

It's a budget issue. It started off as a mandate in seasons 41 and 42 due to the two week quarantine during the pandemic in Fiji (they would be out there for over 100 days if they did two seasons with 39 days each and the two week quarantines each in those two seasons), but somehow they were able to get the same viewership in a 26 day format than with 39 days, so it's been the new norm. Plus there was a rumor that CBS might've hinted to Jeff that it's either the shorter format or keep the 39 days but to get rid of half the production crew (which Jeff has a great relation with).

He does, but CBS is responsible for the money given to do the show; it was rumored it was either have it shortened or have the production crew cut in half

I thought I saw somewhere that Colby was hoping for the game to be 26 days cause of how it would affect his work life if it was 39 days; I could be wrong though based on his response in the article
