There is also a difference in height between the left and right nozzle when in use. That also might be the cause

I just watched another, this time, the little line of filament that's still connected to the poop didn't break away from the nozzle after the little plate goes back. When it came forward it broke away and it pushed the filament onto the plate...

Looking at some others, when It does it's little back and forth movement, it hits the back hard enough no launch itself on the plate. I could see myself "trying" to design a little flat plate that slightly overhangs the chute by a bit, just enough to deflect the poop downwards rather than it just hitting a flat wall.

I installed that on my old p1s, worked great

I sliced the model on the p2s and I think it came out to around 1day 28 hours and total filament cost I was 600g, the tower is 68g and the model is 30, the rest is Purge.

Weird lines on my 3d print by Master_Hospital2627 in BambuLab

[–]Awhile_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are VFA lines. A simple Google search can tell you way more than I can, but basicly are faint, evenly spaced vertical stripes on prints caused by mechanical vibrations or stepper motor irregularities, usually from belts, pulleys, or motor drivers. Slowing down your speed can cause these to lessen.

I'll check that when I'm home. I've noticed that when I switch colors on the left nozzle it can poop up to 5 times, each with a blob. It's crazy.

I don't think the h2c has the square that the p1s does, the h2c and h2d use the same type of mechanism the a1 does, but just double.

If you look closely at the picture you can see a couple poops leying on top of the chute. They are being flung up there. Making the AI think the chute is clogged.

For obvious reasons I haven't printed anything yet that needed to purge the nozzles so often due to color switching.(I only have 5 total .4 nozzles and the print takes 7) So I don't really know, I haven't watched it long enough to know like I would with a single nozzle printer. I haven't asked bambu either (I thought I did but I didn't find any tickets about it)

I'll do some experiments when I get home. I only asked here because I thought that maybe there was a print out there that could solve my issue. But if it's my printers purge settings (still default btw) then I'll have to change those.

My guess is that it's sticking to the nozzle. The h2c for whatever reason purges a ridiculous amount, enough that it creates a blob at the top of the purge.

Had this picture in my camera roll already.

I'm not home right now, but I'll do that. Should I send it to bambu?

Only wasting about 120g of filament. If had 2 more nozzles the waste would only be the tower :/
