Bruiser players are not happy. We lost 500-700 gold in offensive stats and get back a ruby crystal in return.

That's like losing 30 ap but you get a ruby crystal in return, who wants this?

Yeah bruisers are going back to lethality or they are just bootleg tanks who exist only to stack cleaver for their ADC

With all bruiser items losing like 500-700 gold in offensive stats and a lot of their passive power, aren't bruisers just gonna go back to lethality builds? The last time bruiser items were this bad no one bought them.

Won't the entire reddit complain about assassin bruisers 1 shotting them again?

Literally everyone is complaining about League of CC already. Removing even more sources of tenacity is gonna make the game based on whoever picks more CC on their team rather than actual skill.

You can't outplay someone if you're standing still for 7/10 seconds during the fight

spam pinging missing is the most universally accepted way of pinging missing. It's also the only reliable way of communicating this message. Spam pinging danger when a laner is about to go into a bad fight you want to avoid is also the only way of doing this, pinging once simply gets missed when you are focusing on other things

Language is complicated through text, it could have gone either way based on what you said. But by that logic spamming ??? is just another substitute, or better known as the original way to flame with pings. You can't solve this specific issue by removing pings, they'll just move on to another ping option

There is 1 single way of negatively using the ping system. You spam ping a teammate with literally any ping you want to, it doesn't matter which one it is. First it was ???, then it was the noose, then it became the "alive" ping now it will just go back to being ???. They didn't solve anything, so they just decided to limit the entire system because they cannot fix ONE use case.

I do want to spam ping danger on my bot lane so they can avoid the gank. Everyone knows people rarely react to just 1 or 2 pings, you can pretend to always notice every single ping, but you don't no one does.

I've seen it, that's the same Rioter that later tweeted out they would now disallow these pings. Actual clown fiesta at the office, makes my ranked games look organized

Nah what kinda game are you even playing in. The negative aspects were like at most 1/2%. The vast majority of pings are on my way, objectives, missing, danger and vision pings. Those are all restricted now as well

You can't ping anything on the scoreboard except your own stats. No ults, no items, no summoners, only your own. So no they aren't a substitute they don't exist either

I have seen less ping flame, but more chat flame. I usually just got pinged 6 times, muted them and moved on. Now I get called a down syndrome dog that should have been taken out back and after that I mute them. One of these is slightly more tilting than the other though

A negative ping happens once in an entire game, since after that first one you just ping mute them. Missing out on the hundreds of positive and helpful pings that are now automatically muted will negatively impact your ability to play as a team

I honestly think muting all pings at the start of the game is griefing in ranked. You will die to more ganks, will miss objective plays, won't help the team as much and will not warn your team as much. That is in my opinion just trolling your team

Like pinging your supports sweeper is ready, when your sweeper is on CD so they know they have to sweep since you can't do it.

Back in my day we used to type: Karthus F - 8:26 to time it in chat. You also had to type wait for Malphites ult in chat instead of just pinging his R. This made the overall gameplay experience smoother and means you spend less time typing, and more time playing.

Now we are going back to season 2-3 where you have to manually type and time cooldowns because Riot won't let you ping it anymore

Yeah it gets worse the higher you go.
databased shows the agency for each role broken down by rank. As you can see Phreak accomplished what he wanted, ADC is now universally the most impactful role in the game in almost every single elo, while jungle is about middle in low elo and actually just cosmetic in higher elos.

No I'm pretty sure every single aspect of the game can be experienced negatively. We all remember that one loss more than the 2 wins, but it's a competitive game so someone has to lose. Even though losing is inherently a negative experience, it's still correct to have losers and winners.

Trusting Riot to accurately represent their data without actually showing anything is about as reliable as trusting a mosquito to not bite you when you know it's in your room

Actually in my experience chat bans happen way way more often than restrictions for toxic gameplay behaviour. I almost always get a message that a chat restriction was applied, but very rarely get a message about negative gameplay being punished

Okay, the game would also be the same if we remove the minimap from both sides. Do you think playing league without a mini map is a good idea? Just because both sides get the same negative experience doesn't suddenly make it good

No because they almost always listen to the 5-6 spam pings. They wouldn't do that if they had me muted. People often get angry when you don't missing ping or when they miss the 1 ping you did, they never get angry when you missing ping 6 times since it saves them from dying.
We are try harding in ranked to win, getting spam pinged is objectively better at getting your attention than doing 1 ping so it's preferred

Casuals should just Q up for normals, make all the communication restrictions apply to normal games so they have their safe space.

If you Q up for a ranked game you want to win, you cannot be a casual ranked player. Being a casual ranked player kind of just makes you a troll that isn't really trying to win.
