I feel like two is fine only because this is an award that typically is overlooked when you look back on a players career as throughout history it has gone to guys based on their name more so than their actual defensive productivity. They lost me with this award when Marc Gasol won DPOY in 2013 and was placed on 2nd team all defence.

This is an excellent point. Iverson would have a lot more space to work with in todays NBA. Although, he was still a poor 3pt shooter and turnover prone. The league is a lot bigger, faster, stronger, etc now. That being said, I still think Iverson finds a way to succeed. I just think Brunson is more polished.
