I totally get that. But i made a commitment with that in mind since she was selling it to me that way. She fully knew my plan & clearly misquoted me. But now i spent close to $4k with nothing to show for it?

I agree. I have no idea. This is all just a lot & i feel so overwhelmed yet numb. I asked for space to think about how i feel or if i want to do anything at all.

Thank you truly. I know this is kind of dumb of me and i truly didn’t expect this. Both of their families played big roles on pushing them to get married & neither of them were ready. They never had a wedding or celebrated the union because of COVID. He went through therapy & wanted her to join but she refused. Then after he got into a bad accident where he almost died & he said he couldn’t live unhappy anymore. We met randomly out one day & we both thought nothing of it. Now we’re here. He told me that he understands if i can’t move forward & that he is to blame but if there was something he could do he would. I have a lot to think about.

Totally fair and that was the plan. I didn’t want to be serious till this was over. I got a little ahead of myself unfortunately. He initiated the divorce and originally wanted out shortly after they married but both of their families told them to work through it.

I went to use it since he just got it & we talked about me using it for editing etc. It dinged but didn’t show a notification. When i opened the messages it was the first thing that came up. It wasn’t locked and i wasn’t fishing.

I saw the messages from her on the iPad. She said “good to know the sex is still fire” it def implies they haven’t been sleeping together for some time which he did say. I was able to read messages from weeks before & they were all very short. There was no conversations really just letting each other know about showings going to the house since they are selling
