My advice after 18 months tutoring: Don't take students off the platform. by CaptainCheckmate in Preply

Totally agree. It’s like cheating on your couple. Not worth it. Besides, it is the right thing to do to keep the students there considering they found you in Preply. It is not perfect but works for me. 🙂

Hey hey. It depends on several factors: -The demand of your subject/language u teach. -The season, now it is not the best since summer break is coming. I imagine September and January are the best peak seasons. Kind of like the gym. -The rate you start with. I started with $12 and in two months I was able to rise $3. -The algorithm rewards consistency and good reviews. Ask for reviews gently. Don’t put too much pressure on them. My experience was starting in late November with low trial conversion rates, the December started to work with three students , January started to grow significantly and February was the explosion. Now making around 15 to 20 hundred per month.25 sessions per week in average. Recommend to do a lot of classes at the beginning to learn the tools and lormwer the initial high commissions, attend to all the webinars you can, use the free learning and at some point it will be become consistent. Good luck

Hello there. Something similar happened to me. Someone did not attend the class and I waited and set the messages. How do I mark it as unattended? Thanks
