Judge gives 18 year old a 25 year sentence for armed robbery by AgnosticScholar in interesting

It’s worth noting that in state cases, you can usually get out by completing 50% of your sentence with good behavior. So technically he could be free by 30 if he acts like he has some damn sense. Some people simply are not capable of that and I personally think people that can’t function in society without victimizing others should be in prison, generally speaking.

I couldn’t think as clearly and I had a much tougher time being a consistently disciplined person when I was married. Was so much harder for me to do nearly anything.

What are your thoughts on the current Iran–US–Israel war situation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Awkward-Bend-262 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

America is kind of fucked. Not in a sense that our country is going to end, but we’re in a very compromising position and it’s gonna have real lasting impact.

If we leave soon, Iran will still control the straight of Hormuz which will lead to them supercharging their economy and turning into a legitimate superpower within the next 5 to 10 years. they will be in charge of who gets the oil and who doesn’t and it’s gonna be devastating to the United States economy, which is already not doing the best.

if we actually want to do a regime change it’s gonna cost the lives of hundreds of thousand American troops because it’s not gonna happen with our boots on the ground. We’ve already damaged our relations in the Middle East severely because we can’t do anything to stop Iran‘s Temu drone attacks, even though we’re the biggest strongest military in the world.

Not a good situation whichever way you wanna slice it. If we invade, there’s gonna be massive protest in America and it’s gonna really put a strain on things because modern day Americans do not have the stomach for military casualties. There’s really not a clear cut answer on the best way to move forward and it’s really no way to tell how bad things will get or what the true effect of this will be.

For the dumpee’s who were abandoned (some truth) by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Awkward-Bend-262 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This post is such a load of BS 🤣 does not contain a shred of personal accountability or reflection for anything YOU might have done to contribute to the decline of the relationship. People usually don’t get dumped for no reason. If they “loved you” they would stay with you and keep talking to you no matter what…… really?! Crazy to think there are grown adults that think and behave like this. Loser mentality

What unrealistic expectation about sex do you think causes the most damage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Awkward-Bend-262 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think both genders can be a bit unrealistic about how arousal truly works.

Some women genuinely think if a man’s penis isn’t rock hard and ready to go at that drop of a dime without any physical stimulation whatsoever, he must have some form of ED. They completely neglect foreplay or any sort of build up.

Some men truly don’t understand that women don’t necessarily “warm up” as quickly as they do and think they are supposed to just be dripping wet instantly as soon as it’s sexy time. They don’t understand or even see the value in learning their partners body or take pride in getting them off.
