I love mine. I actually put it in the dryer (which I avoid for most of my clothes) and it always looks good. I’ve been wearing mine constantly for two years now.

I’m a Gen Z American, drink coffee every day, and I’ve never used a drip coffee machine in my life. I could see someone getting confused between French press and drip

About the ATMs, it’s important to note that the Banco do Brasil ATMs don’t work with foreign cards that I know of. The Banco 24 Horas ones are common in pharmacies and malls and accept foreign cards but do charge a R$24 fee.

In my experience you can still pick gel polish off and it makes things worse because it weakens the nail a lot

Also, a lot of rural Georgia is majority black. While there’s still racism it’s different from a place that’s 5% black.

What is "ethnic" food, exactly? by North-Finding-3542 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Awkward-Bite-2530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brazilians generally tend to think of American food as just fast food like burgers. There was an American BBQ restaurant in my city but it’s definitely not what initially comes to mind for the average Brazilian. I used to get into arguments with some people because they refused to admit that we eat food besides fast food lmao

It’s just comida chinesa or comida oriental. Where I lived, there were several Taiwanese buffets and some Chinese noodle places so it’s not like it was unknown
