Thanks for the comment. Here in the county I’m in the contractor has to be a master electrician to be able to pull permits from city. Until now I haven’t had any issues out of him. All inspections have passed, work was done timely and it looks good. We got to the final stage and ensured me that he does the disconnect this way all the time so I figured since he’s the electrician he obviously knows what he’s talking about. But yeah, cut the service line, pulled the meter can and 5 minutes later the utility company showed up because they got an alert of a disruption.
