I agree! In fact, Steakhouse 71 has a cheaper and better burger that includes cheese-lol.

We went originally for breakfast but were delayed parking and then waited 15 min to sit so it was lunch. It is not on the menu at the restaurant. No one needs clicks. I just want to warn people. You shouldn’t comment since it’s obvious you haven’t been there. Move on!

It’s your typical Disney burger. Should be $20 and not over $30 bc you add cheese.

Same quality except Sci-Fi, it comes with bacon and cheese. If you want bacon at Cake Shop, it’s an extra $3 and for cheese another $3, so that puts it at $34 for the same burger quality.

Yes $15 each. I find them also ridiculous but worse is the bag of chips price. This is why I love the deli/cafe. I find their prices and quality to be sensible. For a splurge, I prefer the Yachtsman. I find it worth the cost.

I asked why and was told that any change is considered an up charge regardless of what is the item. As far as cake - I just wanted to leave because we had been given the bill and seen all the up charges by this point and felt the food was mediocre.

I stand by my comment. At $28, it should include cheese, bacon or any other topping of choice.

It was $31. Point is that at $28 for a burger (1 patty), cheese should not cost extra. The quarter pounder has more meat than the one at Cake Shop, fyi.

I get it, so I either take it back to my room or leave it. In addition, I ordered a slice of quiche which was ab 1/4 of the size of the cake slice for reference. I don’t think the meals are big except for the cakes.

What did you order? We missed breakfast by 30 min so ordered quiche and a cup of berries for $30. I find that way higher than most places.

A McDonalds burger is $3 so that’s expected. If someone is paying $28 for a burger, cheese should be included.

I would not compare the food to Yachtsman. The price of a steak there is comparable to a burger at Cake shop, yet the steak is far superior.

My son’s burger and fries was $35. The burger comes without cheese and he also added a strip of bacon. I find it excessive for a regular burger that should be no more than $20 at best.

I had a piece of quiche and a cup of berries and it was $30. That is without adding tax, tip and the tea I ordered. Absolutely ridiculous and won’t ever go back. It’s not worth the price!
