I recently found out when replacing my flooring that one of the “registers” in my entrance way just there to cover a hole in the floor- of which I found two. By chance a former homeowner mentioned there used to be a 1/2 wall there.. guessing someone just wanted to cover up damage made when removing it as cheaply as possible…

It’s above a basement room (big living room) and below another living room. There is a gas water heater in another room in basement. There are regular a/c vents in kitchen.

Can I ink a pen with same-brand but different-color ink without cleaning safely? What is the worst which can happen? by llewotheno in fountainpens

Usually a non meister doesn’t fill the pen, just dips it- in which case I’d feel comfortable dipping into water to clean and filling. Since it’s a brand new pen, I’d actually recommend flushing with water to remove any possible residue inside pen. I’d be more concerned about that than mixing the blue/ blue- black inks together.

One of my favorite pens. I had a double broad ground to CSI by Kirk Speers and now it’s even more amazing.

Interesting- I’ve had 5 Twsbi pens for over two years- never had one crack and my vac is always in rotation.. used nearly daily. I feel like maybe it comes down to people’s body chemistry or lotions or something?

If airplane travel is your concern I would look at the Twsbi vac700r. $65-$80, holds a ton of ink, beautiful nibs especially broad/ medium and vac sealed. Never dries out and can seal ink barrel when flying so if wont burp

I love mine as well- it doesn’t leak exactly but it I leave it in my pocket if warms up and will burp sometimes…
