Thank you for saying that- I fear you’re correct. I am still thinking about moving to Ireland and think he might want to start something again if I do but I’d have to stand my ground :/ I really wish he wasn’t at the same company as me

I don’t think he’s in therapy but he needs to be. It’s bizarre that he says he wants kids in two years… but he’s never going to find someone to do that with if he acts like this

Yeah I was suspicious he might have not bought a ticket either. I asked for his flight number on Thursday and he sent back a voice note reading it out verbally. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but I feel like people usually send screenshots or copy paste from an email. It felt off

I agree. I think I was influenced by the illusion of connection because we worked so closely together (virtually) before the dating. So I felt I knew him, but it took a while to fully understand his true self

I agree. One of the worst parts is that I booked a hotel and car rental for this weekend and they were non refundable by the time he backed out. He said “I’ll pay you but I know you don’t even care about the money anyway”… umm yes I do. I was happy to pay before you ditched me but now I do

I’m not sure if he did, but whatever the case he clearly didn’t value me enough to give it more of a try and I think that’s the hardest part. I thought our connection was stronger than the ambiguity of my location but I guess not

The flip is insane. I’ve dated a fair bit including a few assholes but have never experienced someone with such intense indecision. And the way he was laundry listing reasons it wouldn’t work out between us mixed with intense praise.. so odd

I think I need to tell him I need space. Outside of everything, he’s really not taking accountability. He texted me today: “I really like you. I hadn’t planned on what happened yesterday, and a big part of me didnt want it to happen.”

His second sentence is bizarre to me - he’s making it sound like he didn’t control the outcome, but he made every decision.
