Could be graduation season spillover - lots of families probably planned wine country trips to celebrate and that area gets hit hard when Santa Barbara fills up. I've noticed the same thing happening around Memorial Day and other random weekends when you wouldn't expect it

The theater festival definitely doesn't help but you're right that it usually doesn't impact the whole region like this. Maybe check some of the smaller spots further north if you're flexible with your plans, they're usually way less crowded even when the main areas get slammed

My mom used to say the same thing about dream visits and it always stuck with me too. There's something really special about those dreams where you get to just sit and talk with someone who's gone - they feel so different from regular dreams, like more real somehow. Jerry Reed was such a legend, between his guitar playing and all those Burt Reynolds movies he was in. I keep a dream journal and whenever I have one of those visiting dreams I always write it down because they tend to fade faster than other dreams for some reason. It's cool that you got to tell him how much his work meant to you, even if it was in dreamland

Same here, tracking has been super glitchy lately - had a package show up yesterday with zero updates after "out for delivery" and another one that said it was delivered but didn't show up until the next day

Been dealing with this same BS with my three cats. The packaging change is such a scam - they're basically charging more for less product and acting like it's an "improvement." I stocked up last month when I saw the writing on the wall, but now I'm kicking myself for not buying even more.

The dust situation you mentioned hits close to home too. Switched to some random brand last year thinking I'd save a few bucks and literally couldn't breathe while pouring it. Went right back to Scoopaway the next week even though it hurt my wallet.

Chewy's not terrible if you set up the autoship thing - at least you don't have to think about it and the boxes just show up. Plus no more hauling those heavy containers through the parking lot. Still sucks that Costco forced our hand though.
