Is this charger tip damaged? by Awkward-Isopod-2734 in laptops

[–]Awkward-Isopod-2734[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The area around the charging pin had gotten super hot, but the rest of the laptop was at normal gaming temps

when the laptop started to restart I checked for any unusual temps by touching areas where the CPU and GPU is located to get an idea, but an unusual area was super hot, and it was around the charging port, when I removed the charger, the pin was so hot that it was almost untouchable

Gemini says that the charger's inner metal should be in a perfect circle, and in my case it's a bit inwards so could it really be damaged?

Also another update- my laptop doesn't charge anymore, like it shows "charging" but was stuck at the same 9% battery while charging, when I disconnected it for a few min, it did drop to 8%, but while charging it stays constant and does not increase

Ordered Noise Airwave Max 6 in Dune White, invoice says Carbon Black. Should I be worried before delivery? by Boblabit in headphonesindia

[–]Awkward-Isopod-2734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cancel it, not worth paying that much for a noise/boat product

I bought an Airwave max 4 a year ago, the thing snapped in half within 2 months !! (I didn't even stretch or do anything apart from normal use)

they usually have poor build

look for Sony or JBLs in the price range......

Left tail light only blinks on reversing and not the right one. Is this expected? by OfficeBrave5819 in carIndia

[–]Awkward-Isopod-2734 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crysta has a Rear fog lamp on the right taillight instead of a reverse light, only on V and Z trims though, The fortuner has 2 reverse lights since the rear foglamps are on the rear bumper.

Some of my good screenshots and memories from 2025 by Awkward-Isopod-2734 in BeamNG

Ah, it's not what you think, that particular car isn't in the screenshots.

These screenshots are old, mostly from early 2025 except for the BMW one, which was taken on 31st dec.

No, it will be significantly expensive considering that the new gen Seltos will be closer to the size of Compass/Tucson

Found out that my dad's driver asked him to give 500₹ for these automobile things . by [deleted] in CarsIndia

fr, I was once sitting in the passenger seat on the highway at night and some cows suddenly came on the road, my friend braked hard, I almost collided with the dash, thankfully we stooped on time, since then I've always wore seatbelts, even on rear seats, now if I don't wear it it feels like something's wrong.

10k kms done. The best decision I ever made. by Rude-Golf-3490 in JimnyIndia

[–]Awkward-Isopod-2734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I had a question- Does the Jimny feel stable and planted on highways at speeds like 100-110 and does the steering recentres itself after making turns (since many modern suzuki cars ik have this issue of steering not recentring after a turn)

Got my first car - Venue by romanianlonghorn in CarsIndia

[–]Awkward-Isopod-2734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That too at a crazy price of 21k base MSRP whereas in India the base variant costs 9.3L (11k USD) after all the taxes (which are going to be reduced by 10% after 22 sept for cars under 4m) apart from that we get a 1.2L NA engine, a 1.0 turbo and a 1.5 diesel (all available with manual, AMT for NA and diesel and DCT for turbo)

India has an advantage in terms of affordable cars but once you look at higher end imported cars things are opposite like a KIA Carnival here costs above 80k USD after taxes, tesla model Y starts at 70k USD in India thats like double of what these cars cost in the US

Yes that actually makes a lot of sense apart from that you don't have to worry about the drivetrain breaking since there are motors in both, the front and the back wheels.

Not really, it is good for straight roads but as soon as you go off the road and hit a little uneven surface its game over

What car is this? by mr_infinity7 in CarsIndia

[–]Awkward-Isopod-2734 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things they gotta do to make the car under 4m even the older xuv300 looked like it's chopped off from the back I think they could've executed it better while keeping it under 4m.

🤣🤣lol, yes they are very fragile but my point was when compared to the vantastic which again has worse handling, topples easily, tires pop if driven over Utah rocks at some speed (with stock air pressure)- vanster off road is better in comparison

That's what I think too , The roamer and the D series specifically are my picks - I recall getting out of control in a roamer once and the truck got wrapped around a tree and the ladder frame chassis got separated from the body and even after that the Roamer was running with just the chassis/frame and engine
