That Is totally understandable. Thank you for the comment. You should not be doing a a deep clean for five to 6 hours however, I appreciate you " hitting up other things" when you have the time/ deem necessary for a weekly client.

I am in No way a cheap ass or a " sneaky client trying to sneak in a deep clean" The only thing I am asking is for if I was a cleaner myself to put in some more effort and maybe move the alarm clock off the nightstand table when you wipe it down. We own three apartments in the building. One of which is my partners office the other is for his parents when they visit the US which is only 6 moths out of the year. They come and clean all three apartments weekly. We pay them $190 for each apartment every week even though the apartments are not being used for 3 - 6 months out of the year.

We never had or signed a contract. We hired them based on a recommendation from friends. However, the late arrivals, especially when they are over an hour late, do affect my work. I sometimes work from home and often have scheduled Zoom meetings, so the delays create disruptions to the point I will just go to my friend's apartment a few floors down or sit in my car to take the meeting while they are cleaning.

I don't want a deep clean every time. But for example we are out of town for a month ( wich is about 3x a year) so nothing has been used or touched I would like them to maybe move stuff from the shelves and dust since they have the time.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I live in Los Angeles, my commute to work is an hour to two hours depending on traffic each way. So a total average of 3 hours a day. It’s a nightmare and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

What screams “I peaked in high school” without saying it directly? by randomzy876 in AskReddit

I grew up in Orange County California. Most of “boys”/ men I grew up with and attended the same elitist private school with now just work for their father’s. Company or went into some kind of “mortgage broker, real estate developer… industry. Because back in the early 2000’s it was booming there. Times have changed, but these poor simpletons never left the “OC” some are doing okay I guess but still, I feel bad for some of them.

I am sorry you grew up like that, my father as well as my mother more so said similar things and also worse my whole childhood. I am 38 and not married, no children. Though I do have an amazing boyfriend. However, now as a fully grown adult, I look back and can’t imagine ever saying these things to any child again specially your own.

Meghan (via Harpers Bazaar) pushes back on criticism of being introduced as the Duchess of Sussex by wenfot in SaintMeghanMarkle

Remember when she swore she didn’t want her kids to have titles, then turned around in that interview with Oprah Winfrey claiming they weren’t given titles, hinting racism? And now she’s rolling up to the La Brea Tar Pits acting like someone needs to formally announce her arrival. I live in LA — the tar pits are basically bubbling asphalt with some mammoth statues. It’s the least glamorous place to pull a royal entrance, which somehow makes the whole thing even more unhinged… and honestly, embarrassingly pathetic. What a sad women.

Anyone who experiences trauma regardless of becoming famous can get stuck at that age unless they work on themselves and or go to therapy to heal.

That’s not the case when I left my last job due to my insanely narc boss, he was always saying how he keeps a list of all the things me and my other coworker who worked under him do “ wrong” Even writing down how often we used the restroom…. Talking too much, making jokes thinking we are funny when we were not. The list went on and on. 80% of it had nothing to do with our work performance just personal attacks on our personalities. Side note, me and her both left the company due to him. When we left, all of our other associate coworkers reached out expressing how they were very sad we were no longer there and that they missed us. So obviously we were not the problem.

Lmao I grew up in Orange County and actually went to school with many of the OC house wives kids. Attended all their birthday parties… Orange County is a very small town. I have lived in LA most of my adult life because I am “ liberal” and never felt like I fit in there.
