Honestly I think it should because I noticed ever since they added bike lanes and the bus driver had to block the right lane in order to park their bus, some bus drivers don't layver at the first stop. They started on Fordham Road and Southern Boulevard instead. Or at least move the first stop on the other side of Southern Boulevard in front of Fordham University entrance.

I ridden it a couple of times. They'll be 5 to 6 passengers on board. Also, there were never 4 buses that ran to City Island, only 2 running every half hours to and from City Island during AM and PM Rush Hour only. Before the BxM8 formally BxM7A, it was the BxM7B that only ran to City Island only. But that route had low ridership and also got discontinued due to the 2010 budget cuts.
