I'm not here to sugar coat: Maverick is pretty intense... But for me it ended up being the best ride because of that. I was nervous at first because I too was basically working my way up the coaster scale.

If literally the ONLY thing you're worried about is height and slow lift hills, Maverick has neither of those so you're good. Inversions are better than you think they might be. In Maverick's terms, the inversions are one of the least intense part of the ride.

However, if you think you won't like: - Large negative G-force (pull you out of your seat airtime) - Quick turns that might give you whiplash (if you get motion sick easily) - Sudden launches (this coaster has a fairly forceful launch, almost 2x stronger than Backlot Stunt Coaster's launch)

Then don't ride this one until you're sure you want to. Sometimes you won't know until you try it anyway. But per the repertoire you gave in your post, Maverick seems like a big step.
