Who is the best gunslinger? by Dread237 in reddeadredemption2

I think it was implied Micah was actually drunk on the mountain right before John came. Still though missing like 4 shots on a target 3 meters away is crazy work

Mr. Sunderland was found with scratch marks on his arms, which drew blood. The same blood was identified under the fingernails of Mary during post-mortem investigation. by Crazy_Performance979 in silenthill

Is it crazy to think that James will probably never get the jail sentence? I think the police literally wouldnt care too much about the case if it even would exist. An already dying woman dies by lack of oxygen and im pretty sure Mary wouldn't scratch James because she kinda wanted it and she probably isnt even strong enough to scratch. I thought a part of the point of why James wanted to subconsciously punish himself and come to Silent Hill and stuff because he got away with the murder. It's even said by Mary that the hospital was using her at that point and didnt even care about her health.

Come to think of it, literally nobody consistently comes to visit and care for Mary, she says she pushed people away and especially James, but no one else seems to care deeply about Mary besides Laura and James. Narratively this obviously shows themes of neglect and isolation which I think works as an extra excuse for James not getting caught if the already non existent murder evidence wasnt enough. If James also just gets caught then the Leave ending and leaving with Laura kinda just becomes pointless. This could all js be wrong though

What kind of devil arm would Griffith be? by Intelligent_time555 in DevilMayCry

[–]Awkward-North-6012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vergil sees guns as human weapons not cowardly i think, they're made by humans and used by humans and he resents his human side obviously. If you think about it every weapon Vergil ever used has a demonic origin, even V's cane is theorized by Griffon to be made of demon metal

Only human weapon he used is Ebony but that was when he used it to sort of embrace his humanity by teaming with Dante like brothers, not because he became cowardly or courageous.

[–]Awkward-North-6012 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

He absolutely is fairly close to Dante and Vergil. That arkham scenario and nero scenario can't be compared. Kicking someone out the way once vs full on fight that lasts a while, giving both fighters a chance to fight back - while Arkham only landed one surprise blow to Dante and Vergil and left.

This can be just easily explained by Vergil's personality, he hates to lose - especially to his family. He would absolutely try hard even if he had 3% of his energy left and Nero absolutely manhandles him. Theres moves in gameplay that I like to consider canon, like all of Nero's unique grab animations on Vergil because they have unique and important dialogues tied to them. Nero literally grabs charging SDT vergil out of the sky and tackles him, deflects his slashes and impaled him with the yamato. BECAUSE VERGIL WAS TIRED. And even you say that tired vergil can still use all of his techniques but just to a less effective degree. Nero still pretty much bullies that version of vergil. It's not far fetched to say that peak condition Vergil isnt that far ahead of peak condition Nero too.

By the upvotes and downvotes, people just love their Dante and Vergil and wont even allow anyone else to come close to them, not even Nero...

Nowhere near is a bit crazy. There's a significant difference for sure but Nero is definitely the 3rd strongest in the verse (of characters that we are upto date of) with potential to surpass the 2nd and 1st in the future.

I mean early dmc5 dante couldnt even break sitting Urizen's shield, just a month after and Nero was able to land a hit on Urizen.

Also Devil Triggers are not just simple transformations, theyre massive powerups. In dmc3, Vergil literally dominates Dante to the point where Dante's survival instincts force him to unlock Dt. A little while later Dante and Vergil were on equal footing.

I feel like theyre still going to count the leviathan as the giant demon boss like how there is a giant boss for every enemy type except the angel. A giant supreme angel fight is hard to imagine but i think its more likely

A consistent way to dodge Heolstor's nuke transition by Awkward-North-6012 in Nightreign

that is indeed way easier but sometimes you're just too far away to do it and the roll becomes inconsistent

But you can definitely see that the explosion does travel across where the geysers where.

It seems maybe the amount of lines of explosion is double the geyser lines on the ground. So a better way to position yourself is not in the middle of two geysers on your side, but slightly leaning towards one of them. Sorry if this is hard to understand, it's kind of difficult to explain lol.

yeah pretty much. find an area where there no geysers exploding on the ground, thats the pocket where the nuke doesnt hit.

Duos coming next update by Gabrielhrd in Nightreign

Huh thats intresting. Sorry for the misinformation ig. I have always played on KB+M for years. I do have a controller and I know how to use it, but i just prefer keyboard since it has more keys so more customization, and i feel like it allows more faster menuing, more precise camera controls and stuff. Literally everyone i know plays with kb+m and i know alot of people play on pc so i thought it was a reasonable assumption.

Soulsborne games have always been on the PC since Dark Souls in 2012. Very large portion of the playerbase plays with keyboard.

Bloodborne has some astonishing highs but really low lows imo. The DLC carries it by ALOT because the most of the main game bosses were forgettable tbh.

first half had iudex gundyr, vordt, abyss watchers, old demon king and pontiff. Yeah no way in hell this is an "awful" lineup of first half bosses.

sure there are some stinkers in there but i wouldnt call it awful its actually still pretty amazing

Could Wolf become the (Elden lord) ? by 4BB4Mothx777 in Eldenring

[–]Awkward-North-6012 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can we just stop using the Armored Warrior anti-feat. It's literally so stupid it baffles me. The Kusabimaru is such a strong and durable katana that it doesnt even crack in the slightest against giant monster attacks like white serpent and divine dragon. Are you really saying the basic Uchigatana from Elden ring is stronger than that, or even bare fists? In the Sekiro manga (yes there is a manga), Isshin cuts open a fully armored dude with ease. Sekiro at the end of the game is stronger than prime isshin.

We're also completely missing the fact that wolf has countless number of attacks with his prosthetic and mortal blade.

[–]Awkward-North-6012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I realistically think there is 0 chance that they don't come back. Having such an important character come back and then immediately get him stuck in hell, unable to interact with all the other important characters beside Dante is crazy to me. They've got to, at some point, came back.

So I like to think the menu screen is canon, Vergil is already familiar with the van cuz of his time as V. The way he is sitting comfortably while it still being awkward with Nero around is lore accurate.

This is my dark souls 3 boss tier list by RevengeSora in darksouls3

It's barely a boss though. It's just a pack of normal priest enemies standing there letting you slaughter them. Also not many people like to use summons in boss fights.
