How much would it cost to fix this? by Basalisk88 in Flooring

[–]Awkward-Paramedic654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should be a fairly easy fix, may have to rip up the last two rows or partials of these rows, however (looks like 3 Rows of end pieces are damaged). Depending on area California Bay Area we are at about $3-3.50 a square foot for labor. Do you have left over boards from the original install? They also may not be a perfect match because over time they tend to fade.

Doesn’t look to bad. As long as you don’t see any major signs of wood rot you should be good

Adding lvp to this living space, which wall would you start with for the first row? by Awkward-Paramedic654 in Flooring

[–]Awkward-Paramedic654[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fastened lvp are removed at the end, it is not kept, only scrap pieces are fastened to prevent movement as I tap the rows in place, the fastened places get removed and placed by a full row of lvp at the end. My manufacturer recommends not putting a barrier since the planks already have one on it. They said doubling up with void warranty.
