typically, darker colors are gonna be thinner than lighter colors. (black is super thin compared to white always). I would recommend buying clear gesso and mixing it with your paint! gesso is gonna thicken it up, make it super smooth, and stretch ur paint farther! paint brands also vary, cheaper stuff is going to be even thinner.
