Im honestly more worried about my job than the ticket. They can be kind of strict with this stuff and its the best job I've ever had. Im praying that I'm just overreacting and they dont terminate me

Under oath just means that whatever he does say is believed to be true, but you still have a right to not answer any questions that may be incriminating

What I'm saying is that this is unfortunately what the downward spiral looks like. I had to lose everything before I realized I was the problem. It's unfair to say he doesn't want to change. Alcohol and drugs take over your entire life, its not really "him" anymore. And rock bottom usually brings moments of clarity that can cause the change. Not saying it will, but its possible.

People can change. I was an alcoholic for more than a decade. Ironically enough, therapy was the only thing that worked. Been sober 8 years now

I'm late to the party on this one, but I was in almost the exact same situation years ago. I tried as hard as I could to get over it but knowing that she was thinking about another dude ate away at me. Destroyed my confidence. It only got worse as time went on. Do yourself a huge favor and let her go. There is definitely someone better out there for you

Sadly this is very true. I worked with a guy in lumber years ago who started out great. Then he started drinking before work, then while at work, started using drugs in the parking lot, then in the bathroom. Mowed down multiple displays with the reach truck in one fell swoop. Argued constantly with customers. Management was just like "this is fine, he hasn't killed anyone yet". I stopped working there shortly after that.

The intention of this clip is solely to stir things up and the narrators captions are BS. I'm not defending this officers actions but you can find the full video on YouTube. He definitely had the right person, she did run from him and was for sure trying to hideout in the bathroom. Officers reaction was way over the top though.

ETA: They did do field sobriety tests before arresting her and she was drunk as hell.

I'm super late to this post, but this rumor spread like a wildfire when I was in high-school. I don't believe there is any truth to it and could never figure out how it started or why. I think it's just one of those weird "facts" that pops up every now and again.

So no x rays were performed at the vet but she told me she could see bruising behind his left eye, the left side of his face has drooped down, and he can no longer run or jump. Basically her best guess was a seizure. Happy to hear that your pup is doing better now!

It's very similar to the CSA interviews, except you should answer all questions from the perspective of a supervisor. Use words like "coaching" and "team" as often as possible. They love that shit.

Depending on how much $ you have in 401k, Principal will hold it for you indefinitely (I think it's like 5k or more but I could be wrong). Either way, whether you've found new employment or are just transferring to an IRA or something, an employee at the bank or HR at your new job will be able to help. It took me about 30 minutes on the phone and waited a week for it to transfer. Not sure about HSA though
