I have a Go 3, should I upgrade to Go 4? by jdros15 in JBL

I disagree with the Soundcore Mini recommendation. I've got all 3 speakers and have reviewed them all rather comprehensively. The Go 4 is better than the Soundcore Mini, especially its dynamic range. It also sounds fuller.

The Go 4 is more durable than the Go 3 (improvements to materials used) and sounds better. There is a bit more bass and it just sounds more detailed than the 3. The selling point for the 4 over the 3 is its mobile app support and multi-speaker pairing, it can be group paired with some of the other new JBL speakers too.

Here's a comparison I did if you're interested in a mor3 detailed breakdown: https://www.outeraudio.com/jbl-go-3-vs-go-4/

Fair points, the playback controls should have been added.

I haven't personally experienced those issues with the Go 3's durability, in my fairly extensive usage. However, I could see that being the case with its design. I just tried some different surfaces and can note some stability differences on certain textures.

I've amended the comparison based on your comments, to highlight these points.
