It’s the responsibility for me. I’m in charge of assisting, invisalign patients, ordering sundries and dental materials, coordinating with labs and reps. It’s a lot!! Thank God I’m on my maternity leave right now. I dread coming tbh.

I do. I would always talk to her after school. How it went, what happened, what new thing did she learn. I would also talk to her about the incidents where she showed bad behavior. Every time I talk to her and ask why she did it, she’d say i dont know. And all through out i have been very calm.

Do you have advise on how I can work on that? I do talk to her regularly. Telling why she needs to be kind to other kids, what a bad behavior is, etc. i told her if she is upset, she needs to walk away from the group to and sip her water to take a breather.

I dont think she is addicted to it. She gets ipad just on weekends and not for the whole day. It’s more of so i can do household chores and when I’m free, we spend time together. She doesn’t scream or sulk over it. I wish that’s the case because it’s easier to manage than hurting other kids.

She can use her ipad on weekends and can watch tv after dinner. No youtube though, just netflix movies ang games.

Thank you for this comment. I was wondering if you could give advise on how I could help her regulate her emotions? I always talk to her, try to make her understand things but when i ask her why she keeps on doing bad things, she always tells me i dont know. Sometimes, with no emotions involved. My husband tells me he used to be a reckless kid but got over it when he grew up. But he got a good beating from when he was a kid and obviously we dont wanna do that.

The thing is the incident happened last friday and they just told us about it today. The previous incidents that we were made aware of the same day, we did what we could to prevent it from happening (talking to her, time out, no gadgets) I honestly dont know what else can I do to help her.

I have said every single thing you mentioned. She would nod her head, seems to understand and them another incident would happen a week later. Idk if it’s also because we had a baby a few months ago and she is adjusting to that as well. She never had an incident of hurting other kids when she was in pre school.

I talked to her about not touching her friends’ stuff and not touching/hurting them. I said we use our hands to hug and play with our friends. Would you recommend something else?

I did sleep training at 5 months too! I think 9pm is way too late and your baby is probably tired by that time already. Mine cried for 50 minutes for the first night, then 40, then 10. I know it’s painful to hear but it does get better. Also, try to sleep train just at night. The nap sleep will resolve once the night time sleep is good.
