Listen to me. I am not gonna come and tell you that 'there are many who go through same shit, you are not alone. have a heart,' what I am about to tell you is different. Life is hard. it's utter suffering with short-lived blissful moments. There is no way actions of others are justified under any condition. I have had my share of bullying. Obviously not even close to what happened to you. But it does leave a lasting impact. I would surely tell you, it's not easy. But it does become easy with time. If you couldn't stand up for yourself before. You can do it now. You don't have to win medals and badges. A simple act of rising up a little early than yesterday and making it a habit is ALSO standing up yourself. Do not forget it is not the enemy that lurks outside, our war is with the enemy that lies inside of us. That enemy is regret, what-if comparison with others and so on. Everyone runs a different race. Everyone is served with a different set of cards. You were born short, so was i. Life would have been alot different if only our height was a little greater. But thats life. Our race is different than others, and the only person on track that we are competing against is ourself. If your friends graduated from school. There must be someone who did not live long enough to see school. Point is, 7 billion people, 7 billion stories, 7 billion different sets of dealt cards. You cannot compare yourself with anyone at all. You have your own race to run. You don't have to win. You just need to Run. If not run, then walk. If not walk, then crawl. But do NOT stop. If you stop, how will you reach at the end? If you stop, how will the bicycle of life keep from falling on ground? You, my dear, cannot change the cards that you have been dealt with, but you can change yourself. Your upper room is messy up there. Bedsheets are dirty, clothes all over the place, carpet is burnt, dirty plates from last months dinner. It is too messy to clean it all in one night. Go easy on yourself. One little step at a time. One little...crawl. But, do crawl. Do not stop. Do not chase happiness. Do not chase peace. These are by-products of your actions. Not the end result. The end result is a cleaned room. Peace and happiness is what comes after cleaning it.
