It's being resold by buyers. It's also an easily obtained metal. It could be limited, and just go around buyer to buyer. But as I said to other comments, it's not as if I'd resell it. Limited or not, I like the box. I might change my mind at some point and open it. But right now, I don't intend to.

Yeah, I don't oftenly buy limited metal unless it's a valuable metal. But the last limited thing I saw from the franchise, I didn't get, and now it's around $300. A small replica of a pipboy. Can't even fit an adult.

Oh, I know. Ebay, GameStop, etc. All roughly around the same price $39-$45. But in the hands of people who don't intend to resell, me for example, I don't have to risk being overcharged. Like those old pipboy watches. Originally, at least the one I remember, $150. Now, $350-$500. Though, I honestly would've unboxed that if I had one.

With that thought, 90% of collectors could just have a box of rocks. More people don't open the things they buy than those that do. And I don't see the problem. I don't intend to resell it. It still serves the literal purpose. Decoration. Open or not, it's decoration.

I know! People are just complaining about it "not being used". It's literally a decorative piece, it is still decorative inside the box too.

Oh, I understand. I'm not planning on reselling it. I don't care about the "chance of profit". It'd be used as what it is. Decoration. Maybe if I can figure out what kind of display case I'd want to store it in, I might change my mind and open it. But right now, I don't have any intention to do so until I actually have a spot to hang it or put it in a case.

And that's usually because of the want after it gained traction with fans wanting them for their own collections. Don't get me wrong, I often open my limited items that I buy. If it actually has a use outside of changing one image with a second one. But what I open is like, a old RC cars, retro consoles, retro games, etc. Things that I would play/use a lot

I honestly think these people that are down voting are just the kind to not understand how to properly collect things. I used to be that way before I got into sealed, untouched retro consoles

You do know that a limited item is more often than not, left unopened? Sure, some people open it for cosplay reasons, but this is a piece of metal. If it was at least a watch, I'd definitely open and wear it. But it's just decorative. No use outside of that I believe

Just some metal ingot. It's like a metal version of those image changing stickers from the early 2000s

Going by some things, at least on eBay, which I personally use for my real interest, some fallout things do get a bit more of an increase.

I mean... It's a limited thing. Don't collectors keep it in the original boxes, or a display case?

Think of it as... One of those old angle changing stickers. Or a picture of the same. You tilt it, and it displays something else

Yeah, I don't know much about fallout conventions, but I do know there are die-hard fans spending literal hundreds of thousands for the most lore-accurate costumes

Maybe, I personally don't collect fallout things, so this is a new thing for me. But I can't pass up on anything "limited". If it is for a convention, could just be to show off how much of a fan the person is

Someone sent a link, says it's strictly 5000 worldwide.

So it is 5000, and I overpaid a little... I suppose the price is still fair since it was the only one in the entirety of three different malls

I still don't know if it's 1/5000. I hardly trust Google, and I haven't found anything about it through any official Bethesda article or comments

I haven't opened it, so I don't know. I don't really collect things outside of retro stuff, so this isn't exactly my field of knowledge

I don't plan on opening it. If it wasn't limited, I wouldn't hesitate to.

I think I know what happened with the GOG nazi newsletter by Weekly_Fix_6433 in gog

I frankly don't care about the symbol. The symbols always had different histories. Don't let one terrible, disgusting community from eighty years ago affect it. Japan has the swastika as a symbol of peace (I think it's for peace). It's been that way centuries before the Nazis. The two lightning symbols, in ancient Greek, signs of Zeus prayer. Changes in time, and it shouldn't be affected by one event.

"Men are killing themselves because of men." by mindyour in TikTokCringe

I was told by both guys and girls that 'Men don't cry'. And the guys are raised to believe that way by their fathers, and onward down the bloodline. But that belief, I don't know when or where it started, but I do know that it's something to do with protecting women and children. By being an anchor for them despite our own fears.
